USA Rare Earth successfully produced its initial dysprosium oxide sample on January 28th. This milestone marks a significant step in the company's rare earth element processing capabilities.
High-Purity Dysprosium Oxide from Texas Ore
The company achieved a 99.1pc purity level using ore from its Round Top mine project in Texas. Dysprosium, a critical element in semiconductors and NdFeB magnets, is now being produced by USA Rare Earth. The company intends to manufacture NdFeB magnets at its Stillwater, Oklahoma facility. This production capability will contribute to the domestic supply of essential rare earth materials.
